The National Anti-Money Laundering Committee (NAMLC) is the national coordinating body responsible for strengthening Belize’s framework for combating money laundering, terrorist financing, and related financial crimes.

Our Mandate

NAMLC is mandated to coordinate national policies and initiatives aimed at preventing, detecting, and deterring money laundering and terrorist financing, in accordance with Belize’s legal framework and international standards.

Who We Are

The NAMLC is a multi-agency committee comprised of senior representatives from key government ministries, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement agencies.

Through inter-agency collaboration and coordinated policy engagement, the Committee serves as the central forum for national AML/CFT policy development and oversight.
